This course will help you earn a State of California Family Child Care Home License. Nurture breaks down the process into actionable steps, and provides background information, tips, and support to help you complete the necessary paperwork, training, and preparation.

Week 1 - Complete State Orientation
Week 2 - Submit application
Week 3 - Begin independent work:
Complete required training
Get fingerprinted
Pass home inspection
 
Independent work can usually be completed in 4 - 8 weeks.
